The October 2024 release of Alinity was deployed to Test environments on October 8th and will be deployed to Production environments on October 17th. A summary of the changes included in this release appear below.
Verification of the shared features of Alinity on each upgrade is taken care of by our development team. These are features appearing primarily in the Administrator Portal area of the system. Our team does not, however, verify the custom configured components on your Member Portal since requirements for these are often unique and cannot be addressed within the monthly upgrade period. Therefore, we recommend that you review and verify all member and public-facing features on your system before each upgrade. Please see our Verification Introduction article for further details and guides for testing.

New Features
My org documents | Registrant Portal
If an org contact is active, marked as a review admin, and that organization has at least one document with the “show to owner” option enabled then a new “My org documents” page will be visible to that user which they can use to access those documents. This can be disabled via the “Enable documents, org” other-configuration setting.
Feature Improvements
Task access for base admins | Task Management
Non-Task administrators can now manage their inclusion in queues (for queues that allow self-enrollment) via the “my queues” page. They can also now create new unassigned tasks within the queues they are a part of.
Profile update in renewal | Registrant Portal
As only one Profile Update form for a member can be active at once, when a renewal is started it checks for any already active Profile Update for the member and if found uses it as part of the renewal. This has been updated to automatically withdraw the Profile and start a fresh one IF the Profile is over a year old OR it’s an older version of the form and is still in the new status.
Person-Form Renewal Queries | Admin
If you are using the newer form type (personforms) for your renewals, the renewal queries will now return results for them as expected.
Requirement Statuses | Admin
The automatic registration changes will now also include a new requirement status option of “waived”. If the requirement is applicable to the member, but will be retrieved at a later date, “waived” can be used to make that distinction.
Bug Fixes
PAD Subscriptions | Accounting
The PAD subscriptions page has been updated to support larger result quantities. Now even 10,000 subscriptions can be returned simultaneously whereas previously it maxed out at a few thousand.
Registrations changes between designations | Admin
For multi-designation systems, registration changes from one designation to a different one are now automatically blocked. Adding a new designation must be done as a new registration.
